Oh what a view

Located on the 17th floor of the Hotel Angeleno in Brentwood, West Lounge has a stylish setting and a killer view of the city. There is no cover, delicious drinks, a refined atmosphere and did I mention the killer view?

Spring is here

Spring is here and the Daffodil's are in bloom! Some people like roses, others like daisy's I love daffodils! So next weekend a friend and I are going to drive up north to Daffodil Hill located in Sutter Creek, CA where there are over 300,000 bulbs of pure beauty in bloom. Daffodil Hill opens when 25 percent of the flowers are in bloom and closes when only 25 percent remain. The best time to visit Daffodil Hill is from Mid March through Mid April. Daffodil Hill is open only at this time of year, after that it goes back to a working ranch. The hill is open Monday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Lattes, pastries and wifi oh my

Amandine is by far one of my favorite neighborhood places. With its quaint European style its a great place to meet up with friends for a vanilla latte and croissant. Everything they have on the menu is made from scratch and they have the most fabulous Omelette's, french toasts, baguettes and salads. Personally, I love there French toast with Bananas and cream, there chicken sandwich made with homemade bread and there Florentine Omelette which I add tomatoes and bacon to. If you love good food at a great price with a nice atmosphere, Amandine is your place. Oh yeah and they have free wifi too!

Spicy Ramen

Do you like ramen noodles? Have you ever wanted to try authentic Japanese ones? If so, go to Orochon Ramen in Downtown Los Angeles, I just went there last night and not only is it good its a great price for a hugh portion. I got the 'Orochon' with a soy sauce base and added an egg to it, so yummy! They have 9 different levels of spicy and mine was in the middle but it still had a pretty good kick to it. If you love spicy food then this is a must try and you are as daring as one of my friends was, then try the # 2. If your able to eat the whole thing in 30 mins they will take your picture and add you to there wall of fame. I should mention that my friend did finish this bowl and got his picture up on the wall, however, the two guys crying next to us weren't so lucky.

Lemon Ricotta Pancakes

If you like both the beach and brunch, I suggest trying Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica. The hotel has been open since 1926 and not only has an amazing history but a great Veranda for Sunday brunch. I suggest their amazing Lemon Ricotta Pancakes...SOOOO YUMMY!
